Beauty & the Beast - The River Club and Skukza
Beauty and the Beast(s)
Strange name for a golf lifestyle video, but watch and enjoy golf in Johannesburg followed by the golf in the Kruger National Park.
The Beauty
The River Club. An exclusive club open to foreign green fee paying visitors. Founded in 1967 by businessman Punch Barlow, current membership enjoys one of the nicest manicured and laid out golf courses we've played. Easy navigation, superb condition, it is clear The River Club would sit easily in the Global Top 100.
The Beast (s)
Skukuza Golf Club. A little artistic license has been adopted here, in so far as the course isn’t a beast to play as you might think, more the beasts that could be on the course as you play. Located in the centre of the Kruger National Park, there are no fences, or guards as you play in amongst - well, who knows what. The commute to Skukuza is one that is rarely repeated!! Just nine holes, which can be played as 18, the condition wasn’t great, but the thrill of the experience was. A good fun round where looking over one’s shoulder became the norm!
Two totally different offerings, but don’t forget to watch the rescue mission at the end - some might say the bloopers!

Girls Day Out at Wrag Barn
A course vlog made by women for all.
Wrag Barn in Wiltshire hosted four female golfers, who had not met before, to experience this beautiful parkland course.
We show each of us playing the course, some drone footage and of course the hospitality extended by owners Verity and Tim.
Bacon sandwiches, golf and tea/cake afterwards - whats not to like!
Watch to the end to see what the ladies thought and maybe you too can add Wrag Barn to your wish to play list in England.

Gorgeous George and Stunning Simola
The third in our Garden Route series of golf and lifestyle adventures in South Africa - but not the end of our South Africa trip - so click subscribe as you’ll be in for a real and unexpected treat with our final SA video coming shortly.
Travelling along the Garden Route you are spoilt for choice of where to stay and play, we stayed at Fancourt whilst playing George GC, but then jumped in the car to drive the pleasant short one hour trip East to Simola where we stayed for two nights and played the Jack Nicklaus course.
Two very different golf course offerings, both amazing and both we’d return to
